Healthy Care Pregnancy Program

Designed for professionals and peer support workers, this self-paced course provides an overview of the creation and implementation of BCAPOP's Healthy Care Pregnancy Program pilot project. Participants can complete the self-paced course at their own pace within 30 days of registration offering greater flexibility for learners. This course is available to you free of cost through the financial support of the Provincial Perinatal Substance Use Program, BC Women’s Mental Health and Substance Use Programs + Initiatives.

About the Course

Welcome to the Healthy Care Pregnancy Program! This course was developed from perinatal substance use best practices and the learnings from the HCPP five-year pilot project in BC which supported perinatal people who use(d) substances and their infants. You will learn strategies to implement your own Healthy Care Pregnancy Program or implement strategies from the pilot project's learnings.
